I wish I was there too Sassy.
Hi to all the newcomers.

Im sitting here trying to do some work and I can smell sweets....fruity type jellies and they are driving me to distraction.

Himself is in the recording studio doing a collaboration or something...didnt stop to ask, he was in a whirlwind type dash ...ill find out later.

its really cold here in London. which makes me miss CA even more.

my cat who has her pelvis pinned and plated has escaped up the chimney again.....so thats it! shes got her boarding out pass and can do what she likes.....i am just NOT responsible any more for any of her antics...

I have to make a decision on my hair....do I rebleach...i think yes and ive found a perfect lady who does reflexology so Im toddling off there tomoro evening and i will be back before the Tudors comes on the box.....something Ive got engrossed in because historically its wack and i spend my time cursing the continuity dept!

Can still smell those jelly sweets.....

My co worker next door just came from from his honeymoon.. he brought in sweets candies galore left over from the wedding! sigh.. that is hard to walk by every time I get up from my desk.. he put them out on the cabinet just outside our cubes between us.. torture I tell ya!!

Ouch on your cat Sydney! I hope she doesn't get herself into too much trouble!!

California is beautiful today.. you all should be here..

Well I am housesitting for one of my best friends.. will be until next Tuesday. She has a wonderful home.. I could move in! Im hoping the weather is nice on the weekend so i can utilize her pool and hot tub!!

I heard from an old friend today.. made me happy..

We still have fog.. its even interfered with flights.. some were stranded last night in the Long Beach airport last night. I feel bad for people who took off extra days to start their holiday early that couldn't fly out... or that had to sleep on the floor of the airport!

At least the moisture in the air is keeping the fear of fires down

Good morning! I'm enjoying my day off... going to the gym in a couple hours and then I'm volunteering for this festival of trees event at work for the evening. All in all it should be a good day. Hope everyone here enjoys their day as well.

what is a festival of trees Panda?

Sydney, I think working on his bike is kind of cool.. but I come from an area where a lot of guys are into mechanics.. I think most really enjoy it when they do that..

Well it is a gorgeous sunny day (sorry Sydney) and we get off work early today due to the Holiday!

Hope you all have a good one!

The festival of trees is this fundraiser for our not for profit agency. we basically sell tickets for a chance at winning a Christmas tree already decorated. We have 19 trees decorated by various companies set up in the mall and they put their ticket in the gift box in front of the tree they want to win. However, the money that we raise from this event will go to our Christmas family- an underprivileged family in the community that usually has a handicapped child and we spend about $5,000 giving them things they need for the house and their kids.

What a wonderful fundraiser! that's awesome Panda!!

Well... after 4 days offline and away from work.. I'm back at work and sigh.. with a cold! I seem to be getting sick after I headed for bed last night. I'm not real happy about it either. We have our Palm Springs trips this weekend and I do not have time to be sick at all!!

I hope Thanksgiving was wonderful for you all! Mine was great!
