Current Project.... a Quilt!

Here is the square pattern I picked out to use:



I'm recovering an old quilt that my son is using.. I'll take pictures of my work so far and post

i've always wanted to learn to quilt .... hell I've always wanted to just do crafts all the time but i'm not that creative..

i've seen some very pretty patterns... are those the color/pattern choices you are doing as well sassy?

well I used to cheat when I made small quilts.. i'd buy the kind that the fabric looked like a quilt.. i'd place it over an old blanket and sew down in the spots that looked like quilt seams.. then add a back and edge.. so wa la.. a quilt.. without making quilt squares..

but I have done a large quilt the old fashioned real way.. one for myself.. I've finished the entire amount of squares and put them together.. but now to sew them all together with a back and top stitching has been quite the task.. not to mention it is really big.. so it takes up so much room.. I've put it away for a bit..

This project is smaller.. I'll take a picture of the squares so you can see thec colors.. I really like the fabric I picked out..
