Usher, Ludacris and More Join Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert
They join an all-star lineup that includes Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Garth Brooks and Carlos Santana.

Usher, Ludacris, Wyclef Jean and Talib Kweli have been added to the lineup of Viacom Presents the Dream Concert, a tribute to the late Martin Luther King Jr. The all-star event takes place September 18 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City
The artists join a star-studded bill of performers, including Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Garth Brooks, Carlos Santana, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Robin Thicke, Joss Stone, Bebe Winans, Cece Winans, John Legend, Jessye Norman and Mimi Ben-Ari.
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Washington, D.C. Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation. The organization is raising funds for a Martin Luther King Jr. memorial that is being built on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Construction of the memorial began in November of 2006, and is expected to be completed in 2009.
